Teens with Heartsongs empowers teens with essential life skills, an introduction to philanthropy, and the experience of building meaningful community. Through compassionate action and purpose-driven fundraising, these young leaders make a direct impact on the lives of hundreds of children and families each year at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. With the housing problem solved with adequate funds to support temporary housing and transportation costs for patients' families, the program now supports hospital-based initiatives that provide comfort items during unexpected stays and healing through creative therapies like music and art. With every effort, Teens with Heartsongs brings hope, relief, and joy to those facing medical challenges—proving that even the youngest changemakers can make a lasting difference. Email info@teenswithheartsongs.org for additional information.

We need passionate, smart, dynamic high school students who want to learn, grow and be part of something meaningful! 

 

Teens with Heartsongs is an organization dedicated to supporting the patients of Children’s National Hospital and their families. Teens with Heartsongs is a leadership program for high school students that provides teens with important life skills, an introduction to philanthropy and building community, and of course the ability to know that they are making a difference in the hearts, minds and health of hundreds of children each year.

Teens with Heartsongs will also have the unique opportunity to gain knowledge of the impact their work has on their community with educational seminars from local leaders. Teens will earn recognition and certification from Children’s National for their impact on the Hospital and their families.​
